| Chris Horner scored the first UCI ProTour points of the season for the United States with a fifth-place overall finish at the Tour de Romandie in Switzerland on Sunday. Hornerandrsquo;s performance in the six-day event also included several trips to the podium with a third-place finish in the opening 3.5-kilometer prologue in Fribourg and a third-place effort in the 156-kilometer stage four from Charmey to Morgins on Saturday. Horner's efforts on Saturday put him in the yellow jersey with one stage remaining, but a strong ride from Thomas Dekker on Sunday resulted in the overall win. |
